Hey guys, my names Gemma and I run a blog over at! Last week was my first ever experience of LFW and I initially was nervous as it can be all professional and crazy. The idea of running in between shows and looking glamorous 24/7 was slightly daunting. However, my experience was the complete opposite! It was full of colourful clothing, amazing vibes, everybody expressing themselves through their clothes and it was actually a rather comfortable atmosphere.

I was lucky enough to be invited to a few shows with one of them being Ong-Oaj Pairam over at Fashion Scout. I was even more lucky to be gifted a full outfit by the wonderful Simply Be to wear to the show which you can see above. I went for the whole monochrome vibe as it’s something I’m comfortable in as well as on trend. Another trend I love at the moment is the whole grunge feel which is why I opted for a  faux leather skirt, bag and boots to go with my metallic shell top and silver chain. It was an outfit that didn’t make me overly stand out but had some amazing textures and trends going on. I felt comfortable in it the whole day which is important as I ran around a lot! I really love this top as it can be dressed up or down for any occasion, it’s a lovely cut and again is super comfy. Comfort I feel is so important in an outfit as it makes you feel that little bit more confident.

The show was amazing and was a great way to start off LFW. The collection was full of vibrant and well tailored pieces which can be versatile. I loved the bold edge to some of the pieces as well as some of the print clashing which is going to be a major trend. The photographs unfortunately aren’t the clearest of the outfits as I was running fashionable late and they had run out of seating area, however I can assure you they were fabulous! The collection has inspired me to venture out more into colour and stray away from my usual black/monochrome attire. I know I will be adding some orange and blue pieces to my wardrobe!

Is there anything you plan to add to your wardrobe this year?
