Celeb Style Steal: Sports Illustrated
We check out some of the best looks from the girls in the new Sports Illustrated swimwear line-up.
Being selected for Sports Illustrated is one of those modelling gigs that’s up there with being cherry picked as a Victoria’s Secret Angel… everyone wants in, but only a few make the cut.
In the last week we have been introduced to the 2016 Sports Illustrated faces and my what a gorgeous bunch they are. This year is slightly more exciting than years before as for the first time, a ‘plus sized’ model has made the line up! Now over here at SB Edit we are all about being confident in your own skin no matter what your size, but we are so pleased that the stunning Ashley Graham is changing the norm in terms of what we see within magazines.
We are probably a bit biased as we love Ashley and we also stock her gorgeously sexy underwear collection here at Simply Be, but it just goes to show that beauty really does come in all shapes and sizes!
All eyes were on the girls during the launch event and we have picked out some of our fave looks of the night. From a glittery gold maxi, through to a body con black strapless dress – you too can dress like your favourite.
Hannah sparkled from head to toe in a glitzy gown with a sexy side-split and plunging neckline. Go all-out glitz and glam by creating this look with sparkly maxi and glittery heels. The deep neckline and side split adds a sexy twist to this girly look.
Gigi looked fierce in a figure-tight lace black jumpsuit. Add texture to your wardrobe like Gigi by teaming a slinky black cami with textured leggings. Keep it classic with all black errything, including the heels.
Hailey went for an effortless look for the launch, rocking an off-white vest with satin trousers and beach waves. Dress in head-to-toe white for a minimalist chic look like this, by teaming white skinny trousers with a slinky cami and statement nude heel. Flawless.
Our fave gal on the red carpet, Ashley Graham sizzled in a little black number. Rocking her gorgeous curves, the model wore a strapless body-con dress with a chunky gold necklace for extra sass.
We. Love. It.
Irina donned a summery look for the event – her cute white dress feature statement ruffles and a simple V neck. She completed the look with metallic sandals (a strong must-have for SS16). Add a pinch of Irina’s styling to your wardrobe by teaming a white dress with statement silver shoes.
