How to Turn a Negative Comment Positive

I’ll take that as a compliment!

We’ve all had our fair share of nasty comments, right? And we wouldn’t be human if it didn’t knock us down a bit. But no more! We have decided it is time to take a stand against the people trying to bring us down, when it comes to what we wear.

We love being told that we are breaking ‘the rules’ with our fashion statements and if anyone is not okay with it… that’s their problem not ours! We look and feel fabulous, no matter what they say.

So we’re urging you to take negative comments and politely reply with ‘Thanks for the compliment!’ Here’s some examples where you can put that ‘killing with a compliment’ into action.

Your skirt is too short

We suggest this sixties inspired mini skirt, perfect for adding a pop of colour to a plain outfit. Style with a pair of black heeled ankle boots and your pins will look on point.

Roared at for wearing animal prints?

Try this bold safari pattern for a fierce look. This stunning maxi dress is perfect for accentuating body shapes and the flirtatious plunged neckline will accentuate your assets.

Midriff on the dancefloor

A cute cropped tee is a fun way to jazz up any casual outfit. Embrace those love handles and pair this with some high-waisted skinny jeans and bright high top trainers for a super fun look.

That’s not appropriate for work!

We think you’ll find it is. Show off your shoulders with this cut out top, skimming the upper arms in all the right places. Dress to impress by pairing with some wet look leggings and ballerina pumps. Friday’s at the office just got a whole lot funkier.

Swimsuit, yes. Bikini, no.

Take the plunge and bare all in this stunning fringed bikini. Highlight your sexy curves with this high-waisted two piece, that tucks in at the waist. Try it, you’re guaranteed to look and feel fabulous.

Or, if you prefer the classic look, this strapless monochrome swimsuit is perfect for you. A flattering bandeau style neckline makes the most of your bust and the interlocking design will cling to your figure in all the right places.

Take that negative comments! There are plenty of perfect outfits and swimwear to flaunt your fabulous features and keep positive, but the best thing you can wear is confidence. Everybody is different and that’s what makes everybody beautiful.
