Embrace the summer with this romantic floral print featuring delicately drawn roses in a palette of fresh pinks, lilacs and greens resting on a spotty ground. Inspiration for the design came from a chintz fabric that was stocked in Miles & Edwards store on London’s Oxford Street in the 1940s. The store was established in 1922 by Henry Miles and John Edwards dealing in textile furnishings and painted furniture. The duvet cover is edged with cord piping and together with the oxford panel pillowcase have a spot print reverse. As well as a quilted throw in three sizes the collection also includes a lilac coloured runner and cushion decorated with embroidered butterfly and floral motifs (available to buy separately).
